Photographs and descriptions of cemeteries and graves I have visited while researching my family history, as well as genealogical comments.
Introduction
Welcome to my genealogy Cemetery and Gravestone Photos page. The purpose of this blog is to share the photos I have accumulated while researching my family history. It is my hope that in doing this it will help someone else with their genealogy research.
In addition to the cemetery sites I have personally visited, I will also share with you any photos that have been sent to me or that I have found which relate to the family lines I am researching. The surnames I am currently interested in are Woodside, Smith, Getty, Lyons, Morrow, and Pettit on my maternal line; Dugan/Dougan, Stewart, Swift, Letton, and Spahr on my paternal line.
The following two gravestones are at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (see previous postings) and are for my husband's family.
This stone is in Section 12, Range 10, Lot 44
Mother: K. Stolzer 1890-1918
Father: A. Stolzer 1863-1934
(Note: The Stolzers were my husband's great grandparents - Katherine (Kern)& Andrew)
This stone is flat in the ground in Section 1, Range 5, Lot 38. I do not know the person engraved on the stone (Isabella Friel) but there are 3 burials in the cemetery's records: William Carroll 12/28/1900 age 11 yrs.; William Carroll 1/28/1908 age 3 yrs.; Nora Walsh 11/18/07.
